Feedback Matters

We promptly take steps to raise and act on concerns about matters that may impact the quality and safety of supports and services provided to people with disability.

Preventative Action

We take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to all forms of violence against exploitation, neglect, and abuse of people with disability.

Cultural Diversity

Each participant’s right to practice their culture, values and beliefs while accessing support is supported.

Language Barriers

Janan Care ‘s participants whose English is not their primary language will be provided with interpreter/translator support (if required) or in case of a meeting, these people would be able to bring a member of their family who speaks English.

Support cultural diversity and promote the inclusive environment

Support participants’ to play an active role in the community

Finding participants’ needs from consulting with their family members and carers

Create an inclusive workplace for all staff and workers and respect their cultural beliefs and language difference

Ensuring that there is not any difference in service provision between participants and the rest of the people in the society

Support people with culturally and linguistically diverse community (CALD) and Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) background with their culture and spiritual beliefs
